Using Adobe Photoshop, create a mock-up version of a magazine cover design with various layers. Organize various file formats, colors, and text with attention to details. Prepare final project for print and mounting the design on foam board.
The project goal is to create a magazine cover with an image size 8.375” x 10.375” and a spine edge.
Research covers magazines, images and typography. Consider style, size, color swatches and layouts. Link to the process book with examples of existing cover magazines used in the market industry.
